Remove

1

Remove charge air cooler.

Remove air intake line upstream of exhaust gas turbocharger.

Remove screw/bolt (2).

Turn bracket (3) to side.

Unscrew bolt (4).

Guide out charge air pipe (1) at side.

Seal opening at air duct housing (5) with suitable protective cover.

 Set of protective caps

Remove sealing ring from air duct housing (5).

 Assembly tool

Check

Check elastomer bearing (6) check for wear and damage.

If there is a problem



Replace charge air pipe (1).



Install

Remove protective cover at air duct housing (5).

Install new sealing ring at air duct housing (5).

Position charge air pipe (1) in installation position.

Position bolt (4).

Position bracket (3) in installation position and screw in screw (2).

 Bolt, charge air pipe to air duct housing

Tighten down screw/bolt (4).

 Bolt, charge air pipe to rear cover

Install air intake line upstream of exhaust gas turbocharger.
