Remove center and rear section of lower engine compartment paneling

Disconnect electrical connection at charge air temperature sensor (B17/8)

Access to charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) over the steering coupling and over the left engine mount.

The electrical connection also, at the time, secures the snap-in bracket (arrows) on the charge air temperature sensor (B17/8).

Press together snap-in bracket (arrows) and disengage charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) at mount


Do not disengage or engage charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) with the electrical connection.
The snap-in bracket will be stripped and damaged otherwise.

Always replace charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) with defective snap-in brackets.

Installation: Replace sealing ring.

Pull out charge air temperature sensor (B17/8)

Install in the reverse order
