Remove/install

Remove air filter housing.

Remove charge air hose (2) from charge air pipe (1).

Remove screws/bolts (4).

 Bolt, charge air pipe to bracket

Remove air intake pipe and place outside of working area.

 Do not remove electrical wiring harness from air intake pipe.

Remove electrical wiring harness (5).

 For this purpose, remove clips (6) at charge air pipe (1) and bracket (7).

 Installation: Check clips (6) for damage.

Depending on the findings,



Replace damaged clips (6).

Remove screws (8).

 Bolt, charge air pipe to bracket

Remove charge air pipe (1).

 Installation: Check sealing ring (9) for damage.

Depending on the findings,



Replace damaged sealing ring (9).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Check for leaktightness when engine is running.
