 	Remove/install
1	Open the engine compartment	 The access to perform maintenance and repair works varies according to the manufacturer and the body type.
2	Remove the acoustic encapsulations
3	Drain the coolant in the engine radiator		AR20.00-B-1142EVI
4	Remove the resonator tank of the compressor (16)		AR13.10-B-5840EVI
5	Remove the left charge air pipe (1)		AR09.41-B-1327EVI
6	Remove the fuel filter module (2)		AR47.20-B-5511EVI
7	Remove the return line (7)	 Installation: Replace the sealing ring in the return line flange (7).
		 Collect the fuel that flows out in a proper container.

8	Remove the fuel high-pressure pump (3)		AR07.16-B-1005EVI
9	Remove the exhaust gas recirculation pipe placed after the radiator of exhaust gas recirculation
10	Remove the coolant line (13, 14) in the neck (4)
11	Remove the neck (4) of the exhaust gas recirculation vale in the mixing box	 Screw of gas outlet recirculation pipe on mixing carcass	*BA14.20-B-1004-01EVI
12	Remove the exhaust gas recirculation positioner (Y621)		AR14.20-B-1020EVI
13	Disconnect the electric connection from the charge air temperature sensor in the charge air housing (B617)
14	Disconnect the electric connection in the pressure regulating valve (Y634)
15	Disconnect the electric connection from the cylinder head (15)
16	Release the access for the electric wiring harness (5) in the charge air housing (6)	 Place the electric wiring harness (5) sidewards.
17	Remove the fuel line from the metering device for DPF regeneration (8)	 Remove the fuel line of the metering device for DPF regeneration (8) in the bracket, in the threaded connection (9), and in the diesel fuel metering unit (10).
		 Cover nut of the fuel line in the metering device of the DPF regeneration	*BA49.20-B-1007-02EVI
18	Remove the mixing box (11) from the charge air housing (6)	 Installation: Replace the sealing in the mixing box (11).
		 Bolt on the mixing chamber on cylinder head	*BA09.41-B-1002-01EVI
19	Remove the charge air housing (6)	 Installation: Clean the sealing surfaces on the charge air housing (6) and on the cylinder head. Replace the sealing (12) on the charge air housing (6).
		 Charge air distributor screw on cylinder head	*BA09.41-B-1001-01EVI
20	Remove the charge air temperature sensor from the charge air housing (B617)	Only when the charge air housing (6) is replaced.
		 Supercharging air temperature sensor in the supercharging air distributor	*BA09.41-B-1002-04EVI
21	Install in reverse order
