Testing

For the test it is assumed that the combustion side of the engine (air cleaner, injection pump, injection nozzle) are in proper condition.

Open engine compartment flap

Inspect air cleaner for soiling

Inspect air cleaner with the aid of the service indicator. If necessary, clean or replace air cleaner element.

Connect HHT to diagnostic socket in interior of passenger compartment

Conduct charge pressure test
