Remove/install

Remove oil feed line of turbocharger

Disconnect oil return line (1)

 To do this, remove screw/bolts (2).

 Installation: Replace seal.

 Screw/nut, oil return feed line to exhaust gas turbocharger/oil return feed line

Unscrew nuts (3)

 Nut, exhaust gas turbocharger to exhaust manifold

Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filter

Remove water collector

Remove charge air duct upstream of charge air cooler

Remove vent hose (4) on turbocharger

Remove vacuum hose (5) at vacuum unit of the turbocharger

Unclip electrical connections (6, 7) and disconnect

Remove exhaust gas recirculation positioner (low pressure circuit) (Y111/2)

 To do so, remove hose (8) and disconnect Electrical connection (9).

Remove screw/bolt (10)

Unscrew nut (11)

 Nut, exhaust gas turbocharger to exhaust manifold

Remove turbocharger

 Installation: Replace seals.

 Bolt, exhaust gas turbocharger seal to exhaust manifold

Install in the reverse order
