Remove/install

Remove upper engine cover.

Remove screw (2).

 Bolt, breather adapter to exhaust gas turbocharger

*BA01.20-P-1014-01L

Remove bleed lines (3) from exhaust gas turbocharger (1) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.

 Record plug

Release and disconnect electrical connector (5).

Remove screws (4).

 Installation: Replace screws/bolts (4).

 Bolt, switchover valve to turbocharger

Remove overrun mode bypass air switchover valve (Y101) and seal opening with a clean rag.

Install in the reverse order.

Read out and delete fault memory.


