Removal

| Detach control line (1) from turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule (2).

| Unscrew nuts (6) on turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule (2).
|

| Remove turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule (2).
|
Installation

| Introduce turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule (2) and tighten nuts (6).
|

| Turn nut (5) on the control rod (3) in direction of the turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule (2) until the lever (7) is free.

| Press lever (7) up to end stop in direction of the control rod end.
|

| Turn nut (5) with zero clearance up to lever (7).
|

| In order to achieve the required pretension, mark nut (5) and turn by exactly three further revolutions in the direction of the control rod end.
|
10
| Tighten nut (5) using the open end wrench and tighten nut (4).
|
|
| This is to ensure that the control rod (3) is secured against adjustment.
|
11
| Secure nuts (4, 5 and 6) using temperature resistant paint.
|
12
| Place control line (1) on turbocharger bypass flap aneroid capsule connection (2).
