Remove/install

Remove engine cover.

Remove air intake pipe (2).

Remove screw/bolts (3).

 Bolt, oil pressure line to crankcase/exhaust gas turbocharger

Remove exhaust gas aftertreatment unit.

Remove screws/bolts (4).

 Bolt, holder for oil pressure line to oil return feed line

Remove oil pressure line (1) .

 Installation: Replace seals.



Clean

Clean mating surfaces of the oil pressure line (1), on the crankcase, and on the exhaust gas turbocharger.

Assembly cleaner

Install in the reverse order.

Check

Check engine oil level with instrument cluster.



If engine oil level is incorrect,



Correct engine oil level.

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
