Remove engine brake flap connection

Remove air intake hose

Inspect clearance of rotor shaft (2)

If no trace of rotor shaft rubbing against turbocharger housing is evident on either side, the axial play and radial play are o.k.

If there is a sign that the rotor shaft touches the turbocharger housing

Remove turbocharger (1) and replace.
