In case the distribution box (1) is deformed, the exhaust gas turbocharger must be replaced. |
2 | Remove distribution box (3) hose |
3 | Install the tester (2) without coolant in the distribution box (1) and subject to a maximum of 1 bar |
In the event of a damaged membrane, compressed air is diverted from the distribution box (1) between the valve stem (arrow) and the distribution box housing. Replace the exhaust gas turbocharger. |
4 | Remove the tester (2) and install the hose (3) on the distribution box (1) |
