| Remove/install | ||
1 | Turn key in electronic ignition switch control unit to position "0"
2 | Open engine hood | ||
3 | Detach engine air intake duct (1) upstream of air filter
4 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) at throttle valve actuator (M16/6)
5 | Detach pressure connection (3) from throttle valve actuator (M16/6), for this step loosen hose clamp (4) and unscrew bolts (5) | Installation: Do not coat with grease openings of pressure connection (3). During pressure buildup of compressor, the pressure connection (3) from the throttle valve actuator (M16/6) is released.
| |||
6 | Detach gasket (6) from throttle valve actuator (M16/6)
7 | Remove bolts (7) and take out throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | Installation: Observe guide lugs at throttle valve actuator (M16/6), otherwise this can cause damage to the sealing ring (8) due to leakage.
Installation: Replace seal (8).
| |||
8 | Install in the reverse order
9 | Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if necessary |
