Remove/install

Remove covering over engine

Remove air intake hose (1)

Remove charge air hose

Disconnect electrical connection (2) at throttle valve actuator (M16/6)

Unclip cable duct (3) and remove from working area

Unfasten screws/bolts (4) on holder (5)

Remove screw/bolts (6)

Screw/bolt, throttle valve actuator to intake manifold/charge air pipe

Remove throttle valve actuator (M16/6)

Installation: Ensure correct seating of the throttle valve actuator (M16/6).

Install in the reverse order

Connect diagnostic unit, read out fault memory

If replacing throttle valve actuator (M16/6).
