Remove charge air pipe between charge air hose and throttle flap positioner (M16/6)

Detach hose (2) on engine air intake duct

Disconnect electrical line (4) on throttle valve actuator (M16/6)

Disconnect electrical connection (7) at pressure sensor downstream of throttle valve (8)

If installed.

Remove screw/bolt (5)

Bolt, bracket for intake air throttling / vacuum pump

Remove screw/bolts (6)

Bolt, exhaust gas recirculation valve on valve housing

*BA14.20-P-1004-01N

Remove throttle valve actuator (M166)

Installation: Replace seal.

Install in the reverse order
