Switch off ignition

Remove engine cover

Remove charge air hose downstream of the charge air cooler

Disconnect electrical connection (4) at throttle valve actuator (M16/6).

Remove screw/bolts (2)

Bolt, air intake connection to throttle valve actuator

Detach air intake connection (1) from throttle valve actuator (M16/6) and remove upwards

Installation: Observe installation position.
Replace seal.

Remove screw/bolt (3)

Bolt, throttle valve actuator to charge air distributor

Detach throttle valve actuator (M16/6) from charge air distributor and remove upwards

Installation: Replace seal.

Install in the reverse order

Connect diagnostic system, read out fault memory and delete if necessary
