Remove/install

Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter

Unclip electrical line on throttle valve actuator (M16/6) and disconnect electrical connection

Remove screws/bolts (1s)

Installation: Tighten screw/bolts (1s) in diagonally opposite sequence.

Bolt, throttle valve actuator to charge air distributor

Take out throttle valve actuator (M16/6)

Installation: Replace seals (2). Ensure correct seating of the seals.

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory using the diagnostic system and clear if necessary
