 	Remove/install
1.1	Remove engine air intake duct (2)	Engine 271.9
1.2	Remove charge air manifold from throttle valve actuator (M16/6)	Engine 271.8
		See "Disconnect Henn coupling".	AR09.41-P-1311-01AL
2.1	Remove intake and pressure connection (3)	Engine 271.9
		 Installation: Do not apply grease to openings on the suction and pressure connection (3). The pressure buildup by the compressor would loosen the suction and pressure connection (3) from the throttle valve actuator (M16/6).
2.2	Remove air ducting from throttle valve actuator (M16/6)	Engine 271.8
		See "Disconnect Henn coupling".	AR09.41-P-1311-01AL
3	Detach vacuum line for purge valve on throttle valve actuator (M16/6)
4	Detach connector (4) from throttle valve actuator (M16/6)
5	Remove bolts (1) and throttle valve actuator (M16/6)	 When installing the throttle valve actuator (M16/6), observe the guide lugs otherwise leaks can occur.

6	Install in the reverse order
7	Read out fault memory with STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
8	Perform default initialization of throttle valve actuator (M16/6) to ME-SFI [ME] control unit by means of STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the throttle valve actuator (M16/6)
