Remove engine cover

 Installation: Ensure correct seating of the engine cover.

Remove air filter housing (2) on the right hand side

Remove engine air intake duct downstream of the air filter (1)

 The intake air temperature sensors are located in the hot film MAF sensor, left (B2/6) and the hot film MAF sensor, right (B2/7).

 Installation: The hot film MAF sensor, left (B2/6) and the hot film MAF sensor, right (B2/7) must be completely replaced in the event of a defect, along with the engine intake air duct downstream of the air filter (1).

Read out and erase fault memory using STAR DIAGNOSIS

 Stored faults which may be caused by assembly work, test work, removed lines or a simulation, must be processed and erased in fault memories after completing the work.
