Remove air cleaner

Remove cable tie at locking arm (3)

Installation: Replace cable tie.

Unplug connector (2) at temperature sensor (B17)

The plug connection at the same time secures the locking arm (3) of the temperature sensor (B17).

Release temperature sensor (B17) at the mount

Press together locking arm (arrows) and pull off temperature sensor (B17).

Do not unlock or lock temperature sensor (B17) with connector (2) plugged in otherwise the locking arm (3) will be over-tensioned. Replace temperature sensor (B17) with faulty locking arms (3).

Install in the reverse order

Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase

Stored faults which may be caused by disconnecting cables or by simulation during removal and installation or test operations, must be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the operations.
