B17 Intake air temperature sensor
| Remove/install | ||
1 | Turn key in ignition switch to position "0". | ||
2 | Detach plug (1) from temperature sensor (B17) | ||
3 | Disengage temperature sensor (B17) on mount and remove | Do not pull out or push in temperature sensor (B17) with connector plugged in otherwise locking arms will be over-tensioned. Replace temperature sensor with defective snap-in bracket. | |
Press together locking arm (arrows) and pull off temperature sensor (B17). | |||
Installation: Replace sealing ring. | |||
4 | Install in the reverse order | ||
5 | Read out diagnostic trouble code memory using STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary |
