1 | Switch off ignition | ||
2 | Remove air filter housing | ||
3 | Remove hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) | ||
4 | Remove air guide housing (1) | ||
5 | Unlock and detach the electrical connector on the throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | ||
6 | Detach the bleed hose (2) from the throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | ||
7 | Remove bolts (3) | | |
8 | Take out throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | ||
9 | Remove gasket (4) | Installation: Replace seal (4). Attach seal (4) to the resonance intake manifold (arrowed). | |
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
11 | Read out fault memory | STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system | |
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory |
