Detach ground line from battery

Remove cylinder head cover trim

Remove air duct segment between air filter housing and FM

Remove charge air hose between charge air cooler and charge air line (2)

Disconnect electrical connection from throttle valve actuator (M16/6)

Remove screw/bolts (3a, 3b) at throttle valve actuator (M16/6)

Bolt, charge air manifold to charge air distribution line

Remove throttle valve actuator (M16/6), charge air line (2) and screw/bolt (3b)

Installation: The throttle valve actuator (M16/6) must be placed together with the charge air line (2) and the screw/bolt (3b) on the air duct segment (6). Replace seals (4, 5). Ensure correct seating of the seals (4, 5).
