Remove/install

Switch off ignition

Remove cylinder head cover

Remove nuts (1) at the fuel injectors for cylinders 1 to 6 (Y608 to Y613) or cylinders 1 to 4 (Y608 to Y611)

 The nuts (1) are secured against falling out in the wiring harness (2).

 Nut, electrical line to cylinder injection nozzle

 Torque screwdriver

Disconnect electrical connection (3) on camshaft position sensor (B601)

Disconnect electrical connection for cylinder head (X603.16) on engine wiring harness (2)

Remove cable duct (4) on camshaft frame

 Installation: Replace sealing rings (5) and coat with engine oil.

Remove wiring harness (2)

8

Install in the reverse order
