1 | Remove trim panel of cylinder head cover (1) | ||
2 | Detach leak oil line (2) at injectors (Y20, Y21, Y22, Y23) | ||
3 | 2 Pinch off leak oil line with circuit | | |
4 | Detach connector (Y74.1) at rail pressure control valve (Y74) | ||
5 | Place graduated tubes (3) on the injectors (Y20, Y21, Y22, Y23) and secure with clamps (4). | | |
| Inspection | ||
6 | Crank the engine and check injectors (Y20, Y21, Y22, Y23) for leakage. | After 10 seconds no more than 2 graduation lines must be reached (approx. 2 x 0.5 ccm). If leakage is greater | |
Install new injectors. | |||
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Erase fault memory with STAR Diagnosis |
