2 Fuel bleeding tubes
3 Previous feeding pump
4 Pump connection tubes
5 hand primer pump reservoir
6 hand primer pump for bleeding
| Remove and install | ||
Danger! | Risk of explosion caused by the fuel ignition. Risk of intoxication caused by inhalation or ingestion of fuel and Risk of injuries due to fuel contacting the skin and eyes. | It is not allowed to light fires, sparks, light flames and smoke. Only keep fuels in appropriate recipients correctly identified. Wear appropriate protective clothes to work with fuels.
1 | Separate the pressure tubes (1) from the vacuum pump.
2 | Remove the fuel output tubes (2) from the hand primer pump (3). | Collect any fuel that still goes out. Take care to let the fuel fall over the trapezoidal grooved belt.
Take care during the safety lock handling. Refer to
Disconnect and connect the engine fuel tubes to the engine as necessary.
Bleed | |||
3 | Prepare and adapt the tubes (4).
Tubes to bleed the air from the low pressure fuel circuit.
4 | Connect the tubes (4) between the hand primer pump fuel outlet (3) and the reservoir tubes (5). | In order to connect the tubes (4) user a short stretch of flexible transparent tube to connect to the reservoir (5) of the hand primer pump (6).
| |||
5 | Connect the hand primer pump (6) with the vacuum side of the reservoir (5).
6 | Pump with the hand primer pump (6) as long as necessary to have the fuel circulating without bubbles through the tubes (4).
7 | Carry out the assemblage in the operations' reverse order.
Danger! | Risk of accidents caused by the accidental movement of the vehicle while the engine is operating. Risk of injuries caused by being caught or by burns when working with the engine during the engine start-up or operating. | Make sure that the vehicle will not accidentally move. Use appropriate and tight clothes in such a manner that they can not be caught by the mobile engine components. Do not touch the heated or moving parts.
8 | Check the tightness of the fuel system. | Put the engine in operation, stop it after some minutes and check the tightness of the fuel system. |
