Remove/install hot film mass air flow sensor together with air intake pipe

1 Engine cover with integral air cleaner

2 Plug of hot film mass air flow sensor

3 Crankcase vent line

4 Air intake tube

B2/5 Hot film mass air flow sensor

Remove, Install

Remove engine cover with integral air cleaner (1).

Remove by pulling straight up from valve cover.

Unplug connector (2) of hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)

Detach crankcase ventilation line (3)

Release crankcase ventilation line on right at hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)

Open catch of hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) with a screwdriver

Push down catch of air intake pipe (4) at electronic accelerator actuator and remove air intake pipe (4) together with hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)

Do not damage catch.

Detach hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) from air intake pipe (4)

Push back retaining clip with a screwdriver.

Inspect seals of air intake pipe (4) and of hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5), replace if necessary

9

Install in the reverse order
