Remove/install

Open engine hood

Remove cylinder head cover trim

Disconnect electrical line (1) on hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) and unclip

Unfasten clamp (2) and detach air duct segment (3) from hot film MAF sensor (B2/5)

 Installation: Check clamp (2) for damage.

Remove screw/bolts (4)

 Bolt, mass air flow sensor to air filter housing

Remove hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)

 Installation: Replace sealing ring on air filter housing. Observe installation position of hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5). The arrow on the housing identifies the flow direction of the intake air.

Install in the reverse order
