Remove engine cover

Unfasten clamp (1) and detach air intake pipe (2) from hot film MAF sensor (B2/5)

Check clamp (1) for damage and replace if necessary

Disconnect electrical connection (3) at hot film MAF sensor (B2/5)

Remove screw/bolts (4) and remove the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) from air filter housing

Installation: Replace sealing ring on air filter housing. Observe installation position of hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5). The arrow on the housing marks the flow direction of the intake air.

Install in the reverse order

Connect diagnostic system, read out fault memory and delete if necessary

Installation: To replace the hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) the lambda value must be reset in the menu item "CDI teach-in process".
