Remove/install

Open cable tie (4) and push engine wiring harness (3) to the side

Loosen clamp (1) and detach air intake pipe (2) from hot film MAF sensor (B2/5)

Installation: Check clamp (1) for damage; replace if necessary.

Disconnect electrical connection at hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)

Remove screw/bolts (5) and remove the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) from air filter housing

Installation: Replace sealing ring on air filter housing. Observe installation position of hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5). The arrow on the housing identifies the flow direction of the intake air.

Install in the reverse order

Attach diagnostic system, read out fault memory and delete if necessary
