Remove/install

Remove cylinder head cover trim

Disconnect connector (1) on hot film MAF sensor (B2/6)

Remove air filter housing cover (4)

Open hose clamp (2), unscrew bolts (3).

Remove hot film MAF sensor (B2/6) on air filter housing cover (4)

Take out screws (5).

Installation: Check the sealing ring, replace if required.

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory and erase

STAR DIAGNOSIS
Stored faults which can result from lines being disconnected or from simulation during removal and installation or test work, have to be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
