Removing, installing

Switch off ignition

Remove air cleaner cross pipe (1)

Detach vacuum hoses (2, 3) at inlet port shutoff switchover valve (Y83)

Unplug connector (Y83.1) at inlet port shutoff switchover valve (Y83)

Take inlet port shutoff switchover valve (Y83) off the bracket (4)

Detach hose (5) at inlet port shutoff switchover valve (Y83)

Install in the reverse order

Do not use any oils or greases to facilitate matching up the vacuum inlet and outlet passages of the inlet port shutoff switchover valve (Y83).
