Release fuel pressure in fuel distributor with service valve

See Diagnosis Manual, Engine, Volume 2, Index 3.2



Partially remove cable duct on bulkhead

Model 140

For this purpose: 

Remove air collection housing, reinstall. See Repair instructions for automatic heater, model 140, Operation no. 83-140

Disconnect vacuum line from automatic transmission at intake manifold

Model 140

Remove mounting straps for all electrical leads leading over fuel distributor

Disconnect vacuum hose from diaphragm pressure regulator

6

Unscrew fuel supply (17/3) and return lines (17/2

 Catch fuel. Do not unscrew fuel supply and return lines to check injection valves

Disconnect connectors (arrow)

Unscrew screws (16)

9

Disconnect vacuum line from automatic transmission at intake manifoldd

 Cover holes for injection valves. Replace O-rings, oil for installation

Reinstall in opposite order



Testing

Test injection valves (Y62)
