1 | Remove air filter housing | ||
2 | Unscrew cap (9) from service valve | ||
3 | Reduce fuel pressure with pressure hose via the service valve | Collect fuel in a suitable container. | |

4 | Detach fuel line from fuel distributor (1) | Collect fuel in a suitable container. | |
| |||
5 | Disconnect electrical connectors at injection valves (Y62) | ||
6 | Detach electrical connectors on fuel distributor (1) | ||
7 | Remove bolts (8) on fuel distributor (1) | | |
8 | Lift fuel distributor (1) and injection valves (Y62) from intake manifold (22) | Installation: Check seal rings (12) for damage and replace if necessary. | |
Installation: Moisten seal rings (12) with lubricant paste before inserting injection valves (Y62). | |||

9 | Check injection valves (Y62) with STAR DIAGNOSIS | If necessary: | |
Replace injection valves (Y62). | |||
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||

11 | Carry out engine test run and check fuel system for leaks |
