 	Remove/install

Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel and risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel	No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel	AS47.00-Z-0001-01A
1	Remove cover (1) of intake manifold/fuel distributor	 Detach cover from rubber mounts (arrow).
		 Installation: Moisten rubber mounts (arrow) slightly with lubricant.
2	Release fuel pressure through service valve (1/1) at fuel rail (17)	 Unscrew cap. Collect fuel.

3	Unscrew fuel feed line (17/2)	 Collect fuel.

4	Unplug connector (2) of fuel injection valves	 Detach connector carefully (risk of breakage).
5	Unplug connector of camshaft position sensor
6	Remove bolts (17/1)		*BA07.52-P-1001-01B
7	Lift fuel distributor (17) together with fuel injection valves (19) evenly from the intake manifold	 Installation: Check O-rings (16/8) for damage. Moisten O-rings (16/8) slightly with lubricant.
	Checking
8	Check fuel injection valves and replace if necessary		AR07.03-P-6522GS
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Read out fault memory with STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary
