1	Remove rocker arm assembly		AR05.00-I-5521A
2	Remove cover on clutch housing (1)		*BA25.10-N-1001-01G
3	Fit turning fork (2) on flywheel (3)		*366589006300
4	Rotate flywheel (3) using turning fork (2) in the direction of rotation of the engine	 The cylinders to be machined, one and four or two and three, must be at ignition TDC. The four valve stem seals can be exchanged when the crankshaft is in this position (ignition TDC and overlap top dead center).

5	Firmly screw the valve lifter (4) onto the cylinder head; press the valve spring plate (5) and valve spring (6) downwards until both valve collets (7) are released on the valve stem (8)	 The crankshaft must not rotate.

6	Remove valve collets (7)	 Installation: The gap between the valve collets (7) must be equal in size.
7	Remove the valve spring cap (5) and valve spring (6)
8	Remove valve stem seal	 Take note of valve guides and valve stems.
		 Installation: Lubricate valve stems (8) with engine oil. Push sleeve (8) fully over the valve stem onto the valve guide. Press new valve stem seal fully onto the valve guide and ensure it is firmly seated on the valve guide collar. Remove sleeve from valve stem (8).

9	Check valve springs (6) using a spring testing scales (9)	 Replace damaged valve springs (6).	*BE05.30-N-1001-05A

10	Install in reverse order
