1 | Clean the valve (1), remove any carbonized oil residues. | ||
2 | Properly fasten the valve (1) to the grinder (2). | Keep the valve head as close as possible to the mandrel so as to prevent oscillation/vibration. | |

3 | Adjust the angle to the valve seat face on the grinder scale. | ||

4 | By means of the grinder feed, slowly bring the valve seat face (1) closer to the grinding wheel. | ||
5 | Grind at a slow feed speed until the seating face is perfectly clean and without deformation all over the circumference. | After rework, the control values should match the prescribed values. | |
