Remove

1

Remove cap from cylinder head.

Install retaining lock for crankshaft.

Attach hold-down tool (7) to the intake camshaft (2) and attach hold-down tool (8) to the exhaust camshaft (1).

 Install  hold-down tool (7) first and then  hold-down tool (8).

Tighten hold-down tools (7, 8) with the screws (6).

 Use screws (6) of the  hold-down tools (7, 8).

Engage camshaft sprockets (10) with the locking bolts (01).

Remove bolts (3, 4).

 The screw (4) of the exhaust camshaft (1) has a left-hand thread.

Remove camshaft sprockets (10).



Install

Engage camshaft sprockets (10) with the locking bolts (01).

If new camshaft sprockets (10) were installed.

Install camshaft sprockets (10).

 The markings (arrow) of the camshaft sprockets (10) must match the markings on the camshaft housing (5).

Tighten screws (3, 4) slightly by hand.

 Replace screws (3, 4).

 The screw (4) of the exhaust camshaft (1) has a left-hand thread.



Check

Check that the markings (arrow) of the camshaft sprockets (10) are aligned with the markings on the camshaft housing (5).

If the markings (arrow) of the camshaft sprockets (10) are not flush with the markings on the camshaft housing (5),



remove the retaining lock for the crankshaft and the locking bolts (01) at set the basic position of the exhaust camshaft (1) and the intake camshaft (2).

Install

Tighten screws(3, 4).

Remove screws (6) and remove hold-down tools (7, 8).

Remove retaining lock for crankshaft.
