Remove timing case cover

Remove chain tensioner

Remove rail (1).

Remove exhaust gas recirculation valve

Disconnect electrical connector (7) on exhaust back pressure sensor (B60)

Remove screw/bolts (8) and remove EGR line (6)

 Installation: Install new gasket



Pull bearing pin (3) with impact extractor out of cylinder head (4) and remove slide rail (1)

 Installation: Screw screw/bolt into bearing pin (3).

Drive bearing pin (3) into cylinder head (4) and unscrew screw/bolt.

Remove tensioning rail (2)

Pull tensioning rail (2) off bearing pin (5)

Install in the reverse order
