	Remove
1	Remove camshaft housing.		AR05.20-P-6997MRT
2	Insert lever (02) into mount on chain tensioner rail (9). Secure holder (03) on cylinder head with screw (04).	 Rivet press tool	*256589003900
3	Slowly pull back tensioning rail using the rivet press tool.	 The lever (02) presses the chain tensioner together via the tensioning rail and relieves the chain.

4	Remove top slide rail.		AR05.10-P-8421MRT
5	Remove gearwheel at cylinder head.		AR05.10-P-7760MRT
		 Secure old timing chain (1) against falling down.
6	Attach chain fastener (12) to cylinder head and secure with screws (15).	 Clamp old timing chain (1) to tensioning lever of chain fastener (12).
		 Rivet press tool	*256589003900
7	Remove roller-type rocker arms of intake valves from cylinder 6.		AR05.00-P-2013MRT
		 Cover rest of cylinder with rag.
8	Disconnect old timing chain (1).		AR05.10-P-7601-01MRT
		 Rivet press tool	*256589003900
	Check
9	Check tensioning rail (9) for wear and damage.

		If tensioning rail (9) shows signs of wear or damage,
		
		Replace tensioning rail (9).

10	Check bottom slide rail for wear and damage.

		If bottom slide rail shows signs of wear or damage,

		replace bottom slide rail.

	Install
11	Install new timing chain (2).		AR05.10-P-7601-04MRT

12	Rivet together new timing chain (2).		AR05.10-P-7601-02MRT
		 Rivet press tool	*256589003900
13	Remove chain fastener (12).
14	Install top slide rail.		AR05.10-P-8421MRT
15	Install gearwheel on cylinder head.		AR05.10-P-7760MRT
16	Slowly relieve tensioning rail (9) and remove rivet press tool.	 Rivet press tool	*256589003900
17	Remove screw (04) and remove bracket (03) with lever (02) and knurled nut (05).
18	Install roller-type rocker arms of intake valve on cylinder 6.		AR05.00-P-2013MRT
19	Install camshaft housing.		AR05.20-P-6997MRT
