Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

Disassemble

Remove rocker arm assembly

Take off circlips (1)

Remove washers (2), the exhaust rocker arm (3), and the intake rocker arm (4)



Check

Check washers (2), the exhaust rocker arm (3), the intake rocker arm (4), the setting screws (5), the counternuts (6), and the rocker arm spindles on the rocker arm bracket (7) for wear

 Perform visual inspection.

If worn.



Install new corresponding washers (2), exhaust rocker arm (3), intake rocker arm (4), setting screws (5), counternuts (6), and rocker arm bracket (7).

On the exhaust rocker arm (3) and on the intake rocker arm (4), measure the inside diameter of the bearing bushings

 Use commercially available quick caliper for internal measurements.

If worn.



Install new corresponding exhaust rocker arm (3) and intake rocker arm (4).

Measure diameter of the rocker arm spindles on the rocker arm bracket (7)

 Use commercially available outside micrometer.

If worn.

Install new corresponding rocker arm bracket (7).



Assemble

Wet washers (2), the exhaust rocker arm (3), the intake rocker arm (4), and the rocker arm spindles with clean engine oil

Attach the exhaust rocker arm (3), the intake rocker arm (4), and the washers (2) to the rocker arm spindles on the rocker arm bracket (7)

Attach circlip (1)

Install rocker arm assembly
