Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

1

Remove bottom engine compartment lining.

Remove right front section of fender liner.

Remove starter.

Install retaining lock on the starter ring gear and fasten with a suitable nut.

If necessary:



Turn engine in direction of rotation until the gears match.

Remove poly-V-belt from belt pulley (1).

Remove screw (2).

 Installation: Replace screw (2).

 Center bolt, belt pulley to crankshaft

Remove belt pulley (1).

 Installation: Check belt pulley (1) for damage.

If damage is present:



Replace belt pulley (1).

Install in the reverse order.
