Remove flywheel

Use a lever to press radial sealing ring (1) out of timing case.

Installation:

- Grease dust and lip of radial sealing ring (1) with multipurpose grease.

- Insert radial sealing ring (1) into drift (2) and knock it into timing case with a plastic-headed hammer. When doing this, the hole in the drift must match exactly into the cylinder pin of the crankshaft.

Inspect

Check race on flywheel for wear and galling

If wear or galling was determined, replace race.

Remove/install race on flywheel
