Remove/install

Remove belt pulley

Lever cylinder crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) out of timing case cover (2) using a screwdriver


Do not damage crankshaft and mounting hole for the crankshaft radial sealing ring (1).
Leaks and damage may occur otherwise.

 Installation: Install crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) flush into the front end cover.
For galling on the crankshaft install the crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) evenly 0.7 mm deeper.
