Remove balance shafts (1) together with crankshaft bearing caps (2).

Mark bearing shells (3) relative to the respective installation location and position.


Do not swap bearing shells (3).
Engine damage can occur otherwise.



Install

Assign previously marked bearing shells (3) relative to the respective installation location and installation position.


Do not swap bearing shells (3).
Engine damage can occur otherwise.

Wet bearing shells (3) with engine oil.


