Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

Pry radial shaft sealing ring (1) with a suitable tool out of the crankcase.


Ensure that the sealing surface of the crankcase is not damaged.
Leaks can occur otherwise.



Check

Clean sealing surfaces on the crankcase and on the crankshaft with a lint-free rag.

Check crankshaft and crankcase for galling and damage.

If there is a problem:



replace crankshaft and crankcase.

Install

Coat sealing lip and outer sealing surface of the radial shaft sealing ring (1) with engine oil.



 Replace radial shaft sealing ring (1).

Insert centering device (3) into the radial shaft sealing ring (1) as shown.


Insert radial shaft sealing ring (1) on the outside into the centering device (3).
Otherwise, the sealing lip of the radial shaft sealing ring (1) will be damaged.

 Press-in tool

Attach centering device (3) with radial shaft sealing ring (1) to the crankshaft.

 Use three screws (2) of the flywheel/drive plate.

Attach installation tool (4) with screw (5) and washer to the centering device (3).

 Press-in tool

Screw in screw (5) until the installation tool (4) lies on the centering device (3).

 Press-in tool

Remove installation tool (4) and centering device (3) from the crankshaft.

 Press-in tool

Install flywheel/drive plate.
