Removing

Remove belt pulley

Press out the crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) with a suitable tool.

To ensure that the new crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) remains tight, do not damage the crankshaft and the mounting bore for the crankshaft radial sealing
ring (1); use clean a rag as base.

Installing

Clean the sealing surface on the timing case cover (2)

The sealing surface on the timing case cover (2) must be free of grease and dry.

Fit the crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) in the timing case cover (2) with a suitable tool

The crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) must be flush with the timing case
cover (2).

Install the belt pulley
