Push tensioning arm (4) down against the force of the spring and take off drive chain of oil pump (3)

Inspect drive chain of oil pump (3) for wear, replace if necessary.

Detach timing chain (5) at crankshaft sprocket (1)

Inspect timing chain (5) for wear, replace if necessary.

Use puller (6) to pull off crankshaft sprocket (1)

Push tensioning arm (4) down against the force of the spring for this step.

Installation: Align parallel key (2), heat crankshaft sprocket (1), if necessary, and push onto the crankshaft.

Install in the reverse order

Remove/install crankshaft sprocket
