	Removing
1	Remove vibration damper		AR03.30-D-1600AD
2	Screw puller (5) onto radial oil seal (2) using three sheet metal screws (4)	 There are three bores (arrows) in the radial sealing ring (1) in the area of the felt cover cutouts.

3	Detach radial sealing ring (1) with puller (5)		*904589003300
	Checking
4	Check tread of radial sealing ring (1) on crankshaft flange	 In case of galling or damage to crankshaft flange contact surface the crankshaft must be post-worked or replaced.
	Install
5	Position guide sleeve (2) on crankshaft and push new radial sealing ring (1) over guide sleeve (2)	 The lip of the radial sealing ring (1) must face the engine.

6	Press new radial sealing ring (1) into oil pump housing (6) using drift (3)	Press in radial seal (1) dry, axially parallel and evenly around the entire circumference. Observe installation position and setback (A) (about 1.5 mm) of radial sealing ring (1) to oil pump housing (6). Do not damage radial seal (1) when pressing in.
