Remove the engine flywheel

Remove/install a flywheel

Press the radial shaft ring gasket (1) outward, with the iron lever (2)

Cover the crankshaft with a cloth for protection.

Clean

Clean the flywheel housing in the area of the radial shaft ring gasket (1) and of the flywheel flange

Check

Check the contact surface of the radial shaft ring gasket (1) of the flywheel flange on the flywheel

If there are grooves of operation on the flywheel flange, replace the flywheel.

Install

Install the new radial shaft ring gasket (1)
