Remove generator carrier

Remove exhaust manifold

Withdraw dipstick

Detach dipstick guide tube (1) at cylinder head

Clamp hand vise (3) to dipstick guide tube (1)

Replace dipstick guide tube (1) if damaged.

Knock dipstick guide tube (1) out of the guide in the crankcase (arrow)

by striking the hand vise (3)

Installation: Align dipstick guide tube (1) and knock in flush with the support (4) (arrow).

Install in the reverse order
